Tonsils are some lumps in the upper part of the throat inside the oral cavity. The flesh consisting of lymph tissue is divided into four groups. The lingual tonsils on the back of the tongue, the palatine tonsils on either side of the throat, the adenoids or nasopharyngeal tonsils and the tubal tonsils in the nasopharynx behind the nostrils.
The glands in the tonsils build up the body's immune system by producing antibodies and act as the body's immune system. Tonsillitis or tonsillitis refers to inflammation of the palatine tonsils or the two tonsils that extend on either side of the throat. Tonsils are present at all ages. However, children and adolescents aged 5 to 15 years are more likely to be.
